ModHose mount for iPad 1 or 2
Overview
This is a complete mount for iPad 1 or 2 which clips onto furniture or wheelchair arms.
The Modhose mount is ‘cheap and cheerful’ and 'uses industrial materials. It is clamped onto two mounting points and positioned using the flexible LOC-LINE hose.
If the hosing pieces become weakened through over-use they can simply be removed from the chain and replaced with a new piece.
Both clamps are required for stability.
Mount includes:
- iPad holder with silicon edge for protection and grip
- loc-line arm with Y-fitting
- dual spring clamps for quick attachment to flat surfaces.
Instructions for use:
- Attach spring clamps to a flat surface.
- Ensure they are secure
- Insert iPad into holder, making sure Silison edge is completely around iPad.
- NOT: the iPad ModHose mount is designed so that the iPad is used horizontally. When used in other positions the weight of the iPad could cause the loc-line to sag. This is less of an issue with the lighter iPad 2. Shortening the length of the 'arms' can assist to minimize this problem.
