How to choose the best iPad switch interface for your use.
ApplicatorAdvantages: Ability to use iOS7+ Switch Control as well as switch adapted apps. Also has direct access to music controls as well as the ability to be configured as switch access to the camera.
Considerations: Switching between different modes requires pressing buttons on the adapter.
Simply Works for iPadAdvantages: The same as the APPlicator in functionality except allows for wireless switches via the Simply Works range.
Considerations: Not able to use standard 3.5mm switch inputs. Changing the type of input requires changing the settings on the switch/joystick not on the Simply Works for iPad.
Advantages: Ability to use iOS7+ Switch Control as well as switch adapted apps. Also has direct access to music controls as well as the ability to be configured as switch access to the camera. One switch built into top of unit. Very compact unit considering switch built in.
Considerations: Switching between different modes requires pressing buttons on the adapter. If using two switch scanning a second switch will need to be plugged into the iSwitch.
