Tellus 4

DISCONTINUED Tellus 4 offers a speech generating devices fully integrated with internet, environment control and a full range of accessing methods in a powerful, wheelchair mountable tablet system. At its heart is a powerful computer-based device (Intel Core i5, 2.4 GHz) with a bright and clear 13.3” capacative touchscreen display.

Tellus 4 is a multi-faceted communication aid supplied with two powerful software options installed; Mind Express 4, and the Grid 2. The Tellus 4 uses a high performance computer platform with Microsoft Windows 7, 64 bit version. The built-in high quality amplified stereo speakers produce excellent sound. With multiple access methods and feature-rich software, the Tellus 4 can be easily adapted to meet the varied needs of each individual user.

Connections include three USB 2.0 ports, SD card slot, WLAN, Bluetooth,  the input for switches and joystick are at the bottom of the Tellus. The casing is available in white.

The Tellus 4 offers a solution for a computer-savvy individual wanting to use their speech generating device for all facets of communication from face-to-face conversations, to giving talks, sending SMS or emails and Facebook and other social media posts.
