ModHose Loc-Line Kits

Please note: the kit offered by Zyteq does not include all the items pictured. The pictured kit is almost a "double quantity" of the localised kit, which has been prepared for the Australian market according to our experience with popular components.

Some items are available individually if you wish to add items to the kit.

The kit is designed for you to create and assemble your own mounts.

The Loc-line can be snapped apart and pushed together again to change the length.  This can be performed by hand, but the assembly tool shown below can assist.

The kit includes:

• 6 feet (182.88 cm) of loc-line (black 3/4 inch)
• 2 x 3 inch (7.62 cm) switch discs
• 1 x 4x6 inch (10 x 15.24 cm) rectangular mount plate
• 4 x spring clamps
• 4 x double socket
• 2 x Y fitting
• 25 cable ties
• 2 velcro coin sized
• 3m dual lock 2 x 2 inch strip pairs
• 1 x assembly tool

Additional information

The spring clamp opens to 5 cm (2 inches) and has a Loc--line starter piece attached. Spring clamps make attaching to flat surfaces quick and easy 

Mounting disc

The disc is for switches or other light objects to be mounted using Velcro or dual lock.  It has a 7.6 cm (3 inch) diameter, and a Loc-line part attached ready for the required length to be connected.  It is the same as the mounting discs used in the pre-assembled kits shown above.

Looking for Loc-Line Parts?

The mod-hose loc-line mounting system are a rather ingenious creation utilising industrial parts for Assistive Technology. While the foundation components are relatively low cost, the production to “commercial level” product takes the products to the next level.  They are presented as a complete product ready for use.  There is some customisation available for example, with replacing “worn” links, adapting the base product and shortening loc-line lengths.  Zyteq imports these products from U.S.A. and we stock many of the popular items.  We also stock some components which we make available as “top up kits”.  In order for Zyteq to continue to supply these products we can only provide a limited range of options as “top up kits”.  We do not stock individual components with the intention that you will make your own products from scratch. Nor can we provide customised “top up kits”.   The freight cost of these products represents a significant portion of the product price as unfortunately these are bulky items and the import final freight bill is vastly disproportionate to the product value.   We are unable to provide small quantities of individual components as this will quickly make this product range unviable to supply. We have had to make this policy so we can continue to supply this product range.  We appreciate your understanding.
