Zyteq offers individual appointments for assistive technology evaluation. 

There is generally a waiting list for this service.

An 'evaluation' is usually part of an assessment process. An assessment is usually conducted by Speech Pathologist and/or Occupational Therapists (or Assistive Technology clinician) who can consider the needs, preferences and objectives of the client in relation to the assistive technology options available.  Various organisations around Australia offer these services (see link) and individual clinics or therapists may also offer suport through this process. 

A Zyteq assistive technology evaluation is an opportunity for a private appointment to evaluate assistive technology from Zyteq with the assistance of our expert consultants. This is  usally carried out in conjunction with the client's primary/local therapist/s. If the client does not have a local or primary therapist it may be necessary to source a local support person, prior to proceeding with any evaluation.  

A zyteq consultant will demonstrate, explain and set-up the equipment for the individual and provide the opportunity to compare systems or devices if relevant.

Costs may apply dependent upon timelines and priority.  If an appointment can be scheduled when we are in your area for other activities, costs may be waived.  

If you would like to schedule a specific appointment as soon as possible, we may be able to travel to your area for an evaluation session.  Consultancy and travel costs apply.  Time-lines for an appointment may be 1 to 6 months, depending on location of the appointment and our schedule. Please enquire to discuss.
