We are looking to engage a part-time Speech Pathologist (or two) who is passionate about communication and experienced in supporting people with Complex Communication Needs. If have experience with Alternative and Augmentative Communication and are interested in working with customers and clinicians to assist in seeing how electronic assistive technology can enhance people’s communication this could be the opportunity for you!

The focus of this position is to provide speech pathology guidance to people with disability and their clinical teams on the selection, setup, introduction and use of electronic assistive technology in everyday life.  

This role is varied, and clinical supervision is available from the Senior Zyteq Speech Pathologist and includes

  • Discussions with clinicians around next steps for clients towards choosing a device. 
  • Assisting with our clinical evaluation program. Supporting clinicians to support their clients from device evaluation through to implementation.  

  • Face-to-face and remote evaluations 

  • Supporting clients and their equipment. 

There is flexibility in the role at present: 

  • May suit a clinician based almost anywhere in Australia. 

  • We are based in Port Melbourne, but we are open to someone being based interstate  

  • Days of work and hours are flexible. Ideal arrangement would be part-time, looking at 2 or 3 days per week. Days can be short.

  • May combine with private practise or return to work/parent leave 

  • Potential to expand hours later.
