James Bell
Managing Director
After more than a decade in the Assistive Technology industry, James, or Jim as he is commonly known, joined Zyteq in 2023 as Business Manager and later became General Manager. When Zyteq became a member of the Smartbox family in July 2025, Jim was appointed to the role of Managing Director.
Jim is passionate about ensuring that Zyteq continues to provide an exceptional experience to our clients and their support teams while ensuring they get the devices and other products that best suit their needs.
Claire Groom

Claire will be providing remote services Australia-wide, and in-person support in and around her base in Adelaide. Her extensive experience specialising in AAC brings valuable expertise to enrich our team and better serve our clients.
Bridget Cooper
Client Services Manager
Bridget has been with Zyteq since its inception in 2008 and has worked across many aspects of the business. This dedication, hardworking attitude and commitment are things she brings each day to her role as our Client Services Coordinator. Managing trial equipment, coordinating consultations and providing support with sales and orders, Bridget is always ready to help. Her background in science means she loves being organised and learning new skills. Her favourite thing about the equipment trial process is when the right piece of equipment is selected for a client. Positive feedback means that one of our customised solutions has enhanced a client’s life, and this is what Bridget seeks to achieve with every client at every interaction.
Kayleigh Bedford

Kayleigh's passions include electronic assistive technology and Grid 3. Her extensive background in working with Alternative and Augmentative Communication with people with a range of diagnoses has provided the ideal experience for her work at Zyteq. Kayleigh may assist you from the intial "review call" and provide support through the device evaluation stage and implementation. Kayleigh seeks out challenges and loves to develop new and innovative ideas.
Emma Boyle
AT Consultant - Speech Pathologist

Emma’s Speech Pathology experience spans from Ireland to Australia over a decade. In her role, collaborating with clients and therapists she focusses on working with each person individually to help find the features that will work best for them, understanding there is no ‘one size fits all’. She has a genuine passion for assisting clients through their AT journey, and in particular sharing the powerful moments with emerging AAC user and their families, when they begin to use AAC. When you have a review call or evaluation with Emma, she will be enjoying sharing the passion for AT and AAC and finding the right AT to unlock ability and opportunity.

Kylie gets a buzz every time she sets up a new system for a user that allows them to control their surroundings independently. And that buzz only grows when they become familiar with their setup and start asking it to do even more. As a Zyteq Technical Support Officer, Kylie sets our clients up for success by ensuring their technology is setup to do what they need it to do. With more than 20 years’ experience and a Certificate IV in Disability Work, she helps our clients (and their support team) to use their technology with confidence so that they can achieve their goals. Kylie is passionate about meeting and supporting people to communicate and control their environment independently and with confidence. She will work with you to support your Zyteq system so you can achieve your goals.

Jude is a key member of Zyteq’s dedicated Client Services Team. She supports our clinicians to achieve their aims by doing the day-to-day tasks that help us work towards meaningful outcomes for our clients. Jude loves working in a team with mutual respect and common goals. With a background as a bookseller, she appreciates the importance of being able to communicate and interact independently.

Kym blends her expertise in customer service with her genuine passion for using technology to assist people with disability. In taking care of our Trial Programme, you will most likely be arranging your trial logistics with Kym. Kym ensures the devices are shipped promptly and your setup and support sessions are booked with our AT consultants. With Kym's love of a streamlined process and her commitment to making things work seamlessly, she strives to ensure your trial experience is as fruitful as possible.
