Grid Pad 15 with eye gaze is ready to use with any access method especially eye gaze control via the Alea IntelliGaze or Lumin-i, and features a 14-hour battery life (9 hours with eye gaze).  Smartbox has designed and manufactured the Grid Pad 15 from the ground up.  These devices are designed for Grid 3, the flagship Smartbox software, which means all elements work seamlessly together. The integrated second screen displays text, symbols and symojis! Grid 3 provides the power to communicate through text and symbol grids, control the environment via Infra-red and Z-wave and access the device using a full range of alternative access options.  The Grid Pad 15 with eye gaze is the complete communication device and also an accessible tablet with connectivity and Grid 3's acccessible apps. Full colour second screen
The second screen means you can display your message on the rear of the device, improving communication in a range of environments and situations.

Switch and USB devices
There are two built-in ports for switches, and two USB ports to use with any other type of alternative access, such as a joystick, trackball, Quha Zono Gyroscopic mouse. 

Auditory feedback
The headphone socket can be used for auditory feedback, useful for people with visual impairment. In Grid 3, this enables you to hear what a cell will say before you choose to select it.

Antimicrobial technology
Grid Pad 15 is built with an antimicrobial casing and screen to inhibit the growth of bacteria and spread of viruses. The Sanitized® technology embedded within the device helps to keep it cleaner for longer – perfect for clinical settings.

Tough touchscreen display
Grid Pad 15 has a 15.6” HD touchscreen, with a hardened glass display. The antiglare finish helps to reduce reflections and makes it easier to see the screen when you are out and about. Keyguards are available. 

All day battery

Grid Pad 15 is designed to help you communicate all day long. The large 148Wh battery provides up to 14 hours continuous use (9 hours with eye gaze). 

Clear amplified sound
Designed for voice reproduction, the integrated speakers are engineered to produce high quality sound and volume, to help get your message across effectively wherever you are.

Mounting options
Easily mount your device to a wheelchair, desk or floor stand with the Grid Pad dual mounting plate, compatible with Daessy and Rehadapt mounting systems.

Environment control
Control everyday items around your home with any access method. Turn on a light, change the channel on TV, open doors and much more. It works by sending signals via a transmitter in your Grid Pad to receivers around your home.Z-wave and GEWA infra-red are built-in and supplied as standard.

Grid 3 is the software behind every Grid Pad, with dedicated apps for communicating, controlling your environment, message banking, browsing the internet, using social media, sending emails and text messages, listening to music and more. You’ll find a wide range of AAC resources, designed for people of all ages and different levels of literacy.

• There is no relevant Australian AT Standards (or ISO AT standards) applicable to this assistive technology product.
