In celebration of Autism Acceptance Month, we will be offering 50% off Grid for iPad between 20-30 April 2026.

By discounting the price of Grid for iPad, we hope to make AAC more accessible for families, individuals, and schools, and support more people to find the right tools for communication.

Additional discount for schools
Did you know we have a volume discount? Eligible educational institutions and organisations can purchase 20+ copies of our Grid software at a discounted price.
You can combine the volume discount with the Autism Acceptance Month discount to get the best rate for your school from 20-30 April.
You can make these volume purchases for schools directly through Apple School Manager.

You can purchase your Grid for iPad licence directly from Zyteq or through the Apple App Store - the price is the same.
Buying directly through Zyteq gives you extra flexibility and support, including:
- Purchase from a registered NDIS provider – NDIS funding eligibility and gives access to guidance and ongoing support
- Licence linked to your email address – your Grid for iPad licence can be linked to the email you choose, rather than an Apple ID, letting you access and manage it easily your way

Free Grid for iPad training
Get started straight away at Smartbox Academy with our two courses on Grid for iPad. Both courses are free all year round:
- Introduction to Grid for iPad: This bite-sized course will provide you with an overview of Grid for iPad and some of its key features and grid sets.
- Grid for iPad Learning Pathway: Over five modules, this in-depth course will guide you through the app, introduce the different AAC grid sets, show you how to personalise grid sets, how to make simple edits, as well as provide some strategies to support AAC development. Choose the full pathway for a structured journey, or dip into standalone modules when you want to focus on a specific skill. Find the Learning Pathway modules in the Course Catalog by selecting ‘Getting started’ from the ‘Categories’ filter, then filtering by ‘Grid for iPad Learning Pathway.’

When is the 50% off Grid for iPad valid from?
The 50% discount will be available from 20-30 April 2026.
Are subscription prices changing?
This 50% off app sale is only valid for outright purchases of Grid for iPad, not the monthly subscription.
Can existing Grid for iPad subscribers access the discount?
Absolutely, existing monthly subscribers of Grid for iPad can purchase from within the Grid for iPad AAC app and access the 50% offer.
Due to the way the App Store works, they will have to wait for their cancelled subscription to expire before purchasing the app outright. If they would like to purchase the discounted app immediately, follow these steps:
- Create a user backup in Grid for iPad AAC
- Cancel your subscription
- Purchase Grid for iPad AAC
Will the discount be available in more countries in future?
This is the fourth year that we will be taking part in the awareness month sales. We are offering the discount of our app in over 150 countries and will continue to review the pricing of Grid for iPad around the world, in collaboration with our Partners.
Is the discount available for Grid 3 too?
The Autism Acceptance Month sale is only available on Grid for iPad. We are keen to hear any customer feedback on extending the discount to Grid 3 for Windows devices in the future.
How long will my quote be valid for?
Quotes featuring the 50% discount for Autism Acceptance Month will only be valid between 20-30 April 2026.
Can I have a quote and purchase the app later?
You can request a quote any time before the offer period but the purchase must happen within the offer window of 20-30 April 2026.
Can I have the discount after the end date?
The discount is only valid between 20-30 April 2026.
Are in-app purchases included in the discount?
Any additional in-app purchases, such as PODD, are not included in any offers.
Is the discount applied to Talk Pad devices with Grid for iPad?
No, the 50% offer is only available on the Grid for iPad app.
Is any additional discount available to schools?
Yes, if a school would like to purchase more than 20 copies of the Grid for iPad app, they will receive a further 50% off the already discounted price during the 20-30 April 2026 sale – providing a 75% discount in total! These purchases need to be made directly through Apple School Manager.
