New in Grid: Kindle and Audible Accessible Apps
Available now in Grid
We’re excited to introduce Kindle Reader and Audible Player to our range of accessible apps in Grid 3 for Windows.
Whether you love getting lost in a good book or prefer the immersive world of audiobooks, these apps make reading and listening simple, flexible, and enjoyable for everyone. The latest version of Grid also includes an accessible version of TikTok.

Kindle Reader
Using the Kindle Reader accessible app, you can:
- Flip through pages
- Adjust text size, font, and theme
- Track progress by pages, chapters, or time left
- Choose your layout and customise margins
- Search your library
- Use your preferred input – touch, switch, or eye gaze.
To get started, you’ll need to log in with your Amazon account the first time you use the Grid set. A verification code will be sent to your mobile phone.
Want to add new books? Just head to the Amazon website to make your purchase. Your new titles will appear in your library automatically.
Audible Player
Using the Audible Player accessible app, you can:
- Browse and play with a single tap.
- Adjust playback speed
- Navigate chapters
- Control volume – this adjusts your device volume, not just Audible.
- Sort your library by title, author, length, or date added.
- Use your preferred input – touch, switch, or eye gaze.
To use Audible in Grid, you’ll need to log in manually the first time. A verification code will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Audible account. To purchase new audiobooks, visit the Audible website. Once bought, they’ll appear in your Grid library.
