New in Grid: TikTok Accessible App

Available now on Grid 3

We’re excited to introduce TikTok to our range of accessible apps in Grid 3 for Windows. This new grid set makes it possible to explore and interact with TikTok using any type of alternative access including eye gaze, switches, head pointer and touch.

With the TikTok accessible app, you can:

• View and navigate between videos
• Like, follow or unfollow
• Open, read and leave comments
• Browse videos from any profile
• Search and discover new content

TikTok has been one of the most requested accessible apps from our community. It now joins our growing range of options, including Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, WhatsApp and others. The latest version of Grid also includes accessible versions of Audible and Kindle.

Noah tries TikTok

During development, we invited members of our community to help us test this new accessible app. One of those testers was Noah Callan. In this video, Noah gives a quick tour of the grid set and shows how you can use it in Grid.

I have been loving the new TikTok grid set. It provides a very easy connection to the platform – it’s really addictive!

Noah uses a Grid Pad 13 with Lumin-i and works as an AAC and Technology Coordinator at Kids Plus in Australia. In his role, he supports AAC users, families and professionals through workshops and programs that build skills and confidence for more independent communication.
