A long 10-hour battery life (that's with eye gaze), rugged design and multiple access options ensure you always have your voice.
Create a Grid 3 powered, dedicated eye gaze device by adding an eye gaze camera to the reliable Grid Pad 12, for all day use.

Grid Pad 12 with the NEW IntelliGaze NXT (new October 2023) combines the best of Smartbox design with the German engineered IntelliGaze NXT by Alea, which provides robust, high precision and accurate eye tracking. Zyteq has partnered with ALEA for more than 13 years and we have a close association with the IntelliGaze camera, finding it suits a wide range of users even with specific and individual differences and in unusual environments. Please head to the ALEA IntelliGaze NXT page for more on the specifics of the camera. The ALEA IntelliGaze NXT provides full computer control in addition to being fully integrated with Grid 3.
New in 2022 is the Grid Pad 12 with Lumin-i. Lumin-i is a powerful and precise eye tracker created by Smartbox. This is the first eye tracker for AAC developed with Smart Eye technology, and is both effective and reliable indoors and outdoors. Key features include incredibly responsive performance and a large track box that tolerates a wide range of head movements and positions, Lumin-i also offers a unique anti-reflection mode to help users who wear corrective glasses with coatings or filters. The Grid Pad 12 with Lumin-i includes a bespoke purpose-built eye gaze camera module as seen in the image below.

Grid Pad has the latest generation Intel core i5 processor, with 8GB RAM and a solid-state hard drive. This fast processor enables seamless communication, so you can keep up with conversation.
Grid Pad is designed to help you communicate all day long. The large battery provides up to 15 hours continuous use, or 10 hours with eye gaze.
There are two built-in ports for switches. These specially reinforced ports are also recessed for added protection.
Add the IntelliGaze AAC camera or Lumin-i for eye gaze control.
Position for your needs using the in-built stand or on a mount.
The mount plate is supplied installed on the Grid Pad 12.
Grid Pad has a 12.5” HD touchscreen, with a hardened glass display. The anti-glare finish makes it easier to see the screen when you are out and about.
Robust keyguards with secure fastening are available to order for any grid set in Grid 3.
Grid Pad has two USB ports on the back of the device that enable you to use any other type of alternative access device, such as a joystick, trackball or Quha Zono 2 gyroscopic head mouse.
The headphone socket can be used for auditory feedback, useful for people with visual impairment. In Grid 3, this enables you to hear what a cell will say before you choose to select it.
Grid Pad comes with our remote power button, to give you more independence. If you are not physically able to press this power button, you can plug any switch into the button and use it to turn the Grid Pad on.
Grid Pad’s integrated speakers have been engineered to produce high quality sound and volume – to help get your message across effectively, wherever you are.
Rehadapt and Daessy mounting options give you choice and flexibility in every environment. Use Grid Pad anywhere with the variable angle desk stand.
Grid Pad 12 comes with built-in GEWA infrared and radio environment control.
There is a front-facing infrared learning window to make inputting commands easier.

Add a second screen to existing device or purchase with your new Grid Pad 12 or Grid Pad 12 with eye gaze.
This screen can display your text, symbols and Symojis. It can be installed to your existing Grid Pad or we can install it at the time of purchase. The new second screen accessory fits neatly behind your display. With its fully integrated design, there's no need for any additional chargers. When using the second screen you can choose how it performs - speaking characters, words or sentences, or toggle the screen "off" when you you don't want to display your message. Symojis are Grid's animated characters to add meaning or emotion to your communication, with just a single selection. See the Getting Started guide under the "support" tab
The Grid Pad 12 can be carried in this Smartbox rucksack.
This can be supplied on it's own or with the Logitech combined Bluetooth keyboard with in-built trackpad.
