Zyteq's Standard After-Purchase Service

For customers purchasing our high tech devices we are here to support you with:

  • Level 1 support for the life of the device. 
  • A 3-month Premium Support Plan
  • 1 or 2-year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty (for product specific details see below)
  • Ms Surface Bundles have the Extended hardware service, 
  • Apple iPad bundles have Applecare + as standard.

Zyteq warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship on behalf of our manufacturers and suppliers. This may be for one (1) year from the date of shipment from the factory or two (2) years for European products. Perishables, external accessories and batteries are excluded from this warranty.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty only applies if:

  • the equipment has been purchased in Australia from an authorised dealer or from Zyteq.
  • in the opinion of Zyteq's service technicians and/or with consultation with the manufacturer, the product has not been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication, Acts of God, or as a result of service or modification by other than our authorised service technicians.
  • the original serial number of the equipment can be identified.

Exceptions: Some products carry an “extended service warranty” which covers more than defects and workmanship.  These warranties cover all repair needs, even if resulting from damage or impact, for the life of the warranty period, so long as the unit is returned to Zyteq.  Loss and theft is not covered. 

Warranty Claim

Please report the suspected problem to Zyteq immediately. Zyteq staff will provide instructions as to how to proceed to ensure the most expedient, cost-effective repair.

Specific Product Warranty Periods

Most Zyteq devices come with a standard 2 year warranty. Warranty covers manufacturing related defects, but this does not cover breakage, damage or “wear and tear”. 

Abilia products (LightWRITER) - 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damages that do not affect functionality 

Ablenet products – up to 2 years limited manufacturer’s warranty from the original purchase date. This warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing for two full years from the date of purchase. 

Alea Technologies - (IntelliGaze) 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults 

Apple iPad – 1 year warranty against manufacturing defaults and an additional 2 year AppleCare+ accidental damage, which covers two incidents of accidental damage. 

BJ Live! - 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults 

Jabbla Devices (Vibe, Tellus, Allora) 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. This does not include usual wear and tear, perishable and external accessories and batteries, damage to touchscreen/displays and accidental/neglect damage. 

Logan (Proxpad/Talker) - 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults 

Modhose - 1 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. 

Pretorian Technologies - 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults 

QUHA products - 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults, the warranty does not cover the possible battery of the product.  

Rehadapt Mounts 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. 

Smartbox Devices (Grid Pads) 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. This does not include usual wear and tear, perishable and external accessories and batteries, damage to touchscreen/displays and accidental/neglect damage. 

Surface Pro and Surface Go - Our Surface devices are supplied with a 2 year Commercial Warranty and Microsoft's Extended Hardware Service providing 3 years warranty and allows for up to 2 claims within this period for accidental damage.
