Vibe 10

Vibe 10 is a light-weight, slim-line practical device you can take away with you. 

Vibe 10 features:

• Portable: Easy portability with its light-weight (just over one kilo at 1.15 kg), rigid carry handle or shoulder strap.
• Partner screen: Ideal for effective face-to-face communication. 
• Positionable: Position using the supplied mount plate (RehaDapt) for switch access or use the adjustable in-built table stand. (Daessy mount plate available as an extra)
• Protected: Able to take knocks and bumps with Gorilla Glass, screen protector and the protective case. The Surface tablet at its heart is also supplied with Microsoft's Extended Hardware Service.
• Good Battery Life:  Up to 6 hours of intensive use, or extend to up to 11 hours using the wake-up touch sensor meaning it can last an entire day.
• Access: Touch screen and switch ports. Keyguards available. Headphone jack provides private auditory scanning via headphone jack or bluetooth speaker. 
• PODD: With PODD available in Mind Express 5, the Vibe 10 is an ideal device for PODD
• Infra-red ECU: Control appliances in the home using the ECU.

The Vibe 10 (compared to the outgoing model) is:

• slightly bigger because the screen is 10.5 inch (rather than 10.1).
• the table stand is more robust
• a top shell better protects the screen
• 2 switches ports are added and a headphone
• JabblaIR for environment control
• the additional features are reflected in a 200g increase in weight

Warranty and AT Standards

• There is no relevant Australian AT Standards (or ISO AT standards) applicable to this assistive technology product.
• A 2 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. This does not include usual wear and tear, perishable and external accessories and batteries, damage to touchscreen/displays and accidental/neglect damage. 
• The Surface Tablet (not the case) is supplied with Microsoft's Extended Hardware Service covering for up to three years which covers two replacement claims per warranty period on accidental damage.

Ongoing Level 1 Support

Level 1 support is included with purchase of Zyteq’s major systems.  This is for support which includes “basic issues and questions of a straight-forward and simple nature,” and it is available during business hours (AEST).  Free advice and support is also available where instructions and resources are provided for a "do-it-yourself" solution. Many useful support instructions and troubleshooting strategies are located on our website, which is continuously accessible. For the more involved questions or for a personalised training session the Premium Plan is included for the first 3 months, and can be renewed after expiry.

Zyteq's Premium Plan for Support and Maintenance

A 3 month support plan is supplied with your device. This is over and above Level 1 support and is ideal for help with getting started with a new system, or for a block of assistance for to cover a special setup or to receuve training on an aspect of the device or programming of the software. 

Microsoft's Extended Hardware Service (3 years)

For the MS Surface Go tablet: Microsoft Extended Hardware Service is cover for Complete Accident. This option extends the commercial warranty from 2 to 3 years & you can make up to 2 claims within this period for accidental damage. 

Microsoft's Commercial Warranty

For the MS Surface Go tablet: The Surface Tablets we supply come with a 2 year commercial warranty. This provides a number of extra terms over the the standard warranty, for example this means that a device found to be faulty within 30 days will be replaced. You can access the Support for Business and register a service request directly with Microsoft, or we can access this service on your behalf. The standard retail warranty is just 1 year.
